Built by Harland & Wolff (Belfast) and launched in 1898 for the Dominion
Line. Transferred to White Star service in 1903. Her final voyage for WS
was in early November, 1911 - from Boston to Naples and Genoa. Sold
to Allan Line in 1912 and renamed Scandanavian (Allan line became
part of Canadian Pacific in 1915). Laid up in 1922. Sold to a Rotterdam-based
company in 1923 for scrapping - but eventually sold to Klassman & Lentze
of Emden. |
