Project abandoned during the economic depression of the 1930's - intended to be a 60,000 ton super-liner to rival Normandie & Queen Mary, but never finished due to The White Star Line's financial problems at that time. Oceanic 3 was partially constructed when work was called to a halt. Her materials were recycled by Harland & Wolff for another vessel.
