Gaelic II was employed in in the Occidental & Oriental joint service from 1885 until 13th December, 1904 when she made her final Pacific voyage (San Francisco-Yokohama-Hong Kong). Upon her return to England, she was sold to the Pacific Steam Navigation Co. and renamed Callao. She was scrapped in 1907.
